Class Policies & FAQs

Monthly billing and tuition:
Our classes run year-round from September through August, and students remain enrolled from month to month. To make billing simple and convenient, tuition is automatically processed each month using the payment method on file.
-Tuition is due on the 1st of each month and will be automatically charged to the card on file.
-A valid card on file is required for all enrolled students.
-Billing statements are available beginning on the 15th of each month for the upcoming month.
-Students are automatically enrolled for the next consecutive month, so you do not need to re-enroll each month.
-Tuition is based on class enrollment rather than attendance. Tuition remains due even if your child misses a class.
-Enrollment reserves your child’s spot in their class each month. -
Annual Registration Fee:
IGA charges an annual registration fee of $35 per student, with a maximum family fee of $75. Families registering three or more students are eligible for the $75 family cap. If the family cap does not automatically apply during online registration, we’re happy to apply a credit to your account or assist with registration in person or over the phone. The registration fee is valid for 365 days from the date it was last paid.

IGA Drop procedure-
To withdraw from a class, written notice must be submitted by the last day of the month to avoid being charged for the following month.
-Withdrawals can be submitted through the Parent Portal, by email, or by completing a withdrawal form at the front desk.
-Verbal withdrawals cannot be accepted. All withdrawals must be submitted in writing using one of the methods listed above.
-If a withdrawal is submitted on or after the 1st of the month, that month’s tuition is due in full. -
Refund policy-
Imperial Gymnastics does not issue refunds for classes missed, including holidays, weather related closings or any other unforeseen circumstances. Tuition is non-refundable after the 1st of the month and tuition for the month is processed. Credits will be given for injury or severe illness, with a doctor’s note emailed to IGA. Credits have no cash value.
-
Make-up Policy-
If your child misses a class, a make-up token will be added to your Parent Portal after the missed class. Make-up tokens can be used for an additional class or an available Open Gym session.
Make-up tokens expire 30 days after they are issued OR when the student is dropped from their class, whichever comes first. Tokens must be used while the student is actively enrolled and do not carry over into a month when the student is not registered. Make-up tokens may be extended for an injury or severe illness with a doctor’s note. Make-up tokens have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for a refund.
Can’t make it to class? You can submit a future absence through the Parent Portal at your earliest convenience so we know your child will not be attending. A make-up token will be issued after the missed class has passed. Missed classes cannot be prorated or refunded.
This make-up policy also applies to weather-related closures and scheduled holidays. For example, if a make-up token is issued on January 1, 2026, it will expire on February 1, 2026, unless the student is no longer enrolled in February, in which case the token expires the last day of January. -
Class expectations-
Please have your child arrive dressed appropriately for their class. Comfortable, secure clothing allows athletes to move freely and helps create a safe environment in the gym.
Leotards are recommended for gymnastics classes. Fitted athletic shorts and fitted T-shirts are also welcome. Gymnasts should participate barefoot.
Tumbling athletes may wear cheer shoes or bare feet, whichever their preference.
Tie back long hair. Hair should be tied back in a pony tail or away from the face before class begins. Remove necklaces, long earrings and any other jewelry that may be dangerous to the coach or gymnast
Parents/guardians/caregivers must also remove their shoes before entering the gym.
